Amber Affolder is a seasoned operations executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in legal administration, finance, and firm management.
As Chief Operations Officer and Accounting Manager a national law firm, Amber oversees complex litigation operations, IT, data management, financial strategy, and staffing for a nationally recognized plaintiff’s firm specializing in catastrophic injury, pharmaceutical litigation, and wrongful death cases.
Since 2001, Amber has propelled operational improvements, managed high- stakes financial processes, and led strategic recruitment—especially with rapidly changing demands. Previous roles include Project Manager for a claims process that awarded more than $150M and Operations Manager of a boutique law firm, where she directed HR, compliance, billing, IT, and attorney support services.
A results-driven leader, Amber designed and implemented a fully customized case management system to streamline legal workflows and improve data accuracy across departments. She also manages a dedicated overseas data support team, enabling 24/7 case support and enhancing operational scalability.
Amber earned a dual B.S. in Business Management and Accounting, following earlier studies in Mathematics and Pre-Medicine at Baylor University, business coursework at Western State College, and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer program at Southern Methodist University. She also completed EMT training and is currently pursuing a COO Certification at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), demonstrating a continued commitment to crisis leadership and operational excellence.
Outside of her legal career, Amber is a passionate advocate for individuals living with multiple sclerosis, working to raise awareness, offer support, and promote better access to resources and care.
